More details: Suitable for vegans. Fermentation takes place in vats for 10-13 days with continuous pumping. The wine is aged in stainless steel. Blended in March and bottled soon after to keep the fruit and the easy-drinking style.

La Biancara is located near the town of Gambellara in the province of Vicenza, Veneto, Italy. It was founded in 1988 by Angiolino Maule and his wife Rosamaria. After 12 years spent as pizza makers they decided to dedicate their life to their passion: viticulture. They bought six hectares of land in the hills of Sorio di Gambellara, planted the vines and built their house and cellar. In the last 30 years the property has extended to ten hectares and Angiolino, the founder of the Italian association VinNatur, is now helped by his sons. A new winery was built and new vineyards planted but the spirit of quality and authenticity remains the same. The family-run estate also includes hundred year old olive trees as well as cherries, figs, apricots and peaches from which Rosamaria makes delicious jams. La Biancara has banned synthetic chemicals; only uses treatments against diseases made from plant and herbal products; and fertilises, when necessary, with vegetable compost and organic manure. The same spirit prevails in the winery where they have totally eliminated industrial yeasts, enzymes, concentrated musts, acidification, filtration, clarification. The use of sulphur is kept to a minimum and all the fermentations occur spontaneously without temperature controls.
